Outdoors people have their game mounted because they are proud of their catch and want to show it off. A taxidermy plate added to that mount will give the date of the hunt, the weight of the game, or whatever information the hunter requests.
We have found that a standard size plate of 2 1/2 x 1 1/4 will work well for most taxidermy mounting applications. We are also able to offer any size plate you may need for those special mounts as we cut our own engraving materials.
Metal Plates
We have in stock many different color combinations as can be see on our online order form.
Plates may have square, rounded or notched corners. Double sided tape is provided on back of plate or it can be drilled for screws. The light colored plates can have the lettering blackened for contrast.

Standard 2 1/2 x 1 1/4" plates are $2.50 each. Double plates (one plate on top of another) are $1.00 extra. This includes up to five lines of engraving and taped backs. Plates other than standard size are .30 cents per square inch ($2.50 minimum per plate). This also includes all engraving and taped backs.
Sample Board
Fourteen different color plates, plus our different typestyles are available to you on a sample board for $12.50. We engrave your shop information at the top of the board. It is a very handy sales tool. No taxidermist should be without it. Listed on the back of the board are plate colors and typestyles.
Plastic Plates
As an alternative to metal plates we also offer plastic engraved plates. The pricing is the same as for metal plates.Plastic can be supplied in a wide variety of color combinations.
Glass Plaques
For full-size animal mounts much of the time there's not a good place to put a plate. A glass plaque would be a great substitution. They can either sit on the base of the mount or beside of it. They add a real "touch of class" to any mount.
Allow a couple of extra days for glass plaques.

Turkey Beard Boards
Our turkey beard boards have a turkey hunting scene engraved on the front in black brass. Just pop out one of the five 12 ga. hulls in the back, hot glue in the beard, thread the beard through the hole an its ready to go. It's a must for turkey hunter beard trophies.
If you want to personalize the board with a hunter's name we can do that also.
Turkey beard boards with our standard plate or customized are $20.00.
Photo Plaques
Your customers spend many hours afield or on the water in pursuit of game. You in turn devote untold hours of work to capture their memories by creating exceptional quality mounts of their trophies. |

Most of your customers take numerous pictures of their trophies either while still in the field of after they have arrived home. As an added option for your customers you can now provide them with a photo plaque to hang with their mounts.
By offering your customers one of these plaques you can help them honor their mounts and your workmanship. Just have customer provide you with a standard 3.5 x 5 picture and the information they want engraved on the plaque. We then place the picture under a sheet of plexiglass and engrave the provided information in an appealing manner.
You can offer these plaques for any game or fish that you mount as we custom engrave each plate.
Incentives you might use include: child's first fish or animal, memorable hunts or fishing trips, outstanding antler size, personal best fish or animal, ect. They are great for catch and release.
Photo plaques are $15.00 each. Suggested retail depends on your market area. Considering most of your customers are spending several hundred dollars for their mounts, it is assured they will not hesitate to add a little more to your profits by purchasing a plaque also.
As with our other taxidermy plates a variety of color schemes are available. These also make great gifts for father's day, birthdays, ect. They can also be used for other events such as basketball, football or baseball; graduation; outstanding achievement, etc. Your imagination is the limit.
For antler and deer feet mounts the same photo plaque idea may be used. For $10.00 the plexiglass, engraved plate, and screws can be provided for your easy installation.
